Our Business Operations Analyst is part of the Banking Business Operations team, and is the Subject Matter Expert for Banking on the Product Realization and Product Sync processes. They are the focal point for managing the day to day operations of the Global Solutions Database (GSDB) application and corresponding procedures to effect smart business decisions. The role will represent Banking on the cross functional Product Advisory Board (PAB) and act as the primary contact with the IT organization.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Gain business/system knowledge to assist in proactive data analysis that provides trending information, analysis, and recommendations to enable business decisions
Support the Day to Day GSDB operations fielding product business issues (orderability/pricing/sourcing) and TPP requests
Provide training to various organizations on GSDB system and processes
Responsibility for adding and maintaining orderability of products within GSDB
Engagement in monthly sync meetings to review ongoing product issues, changes to the business processes, and updates on system releases
Approve GSDB permission requests & review quarterly Sarbanes Oxley audit
Conduct all User acceptance testing for new releases to GSDB
Work independently within deadlines to deliver quality work and act with a sense of urgency to minimize escalations
Engage in best practices through stewardship while acting as a conduit between sales and operational teams
Advocate for PID/SID discontinuation to support serviceability and reduce orderable options to place higher focus on key selling strategies
Investigate to determine the root cause for process gaps and be willing to offer potential solutions
Become a subject matter expert to provide guidance to Offer managers for product level revenue recognition that connect to business operation systems and workflow
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Demonstrated proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite software & Business Objects SQL
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, problem solving techniques
Willingness to learn, attitude of continuous improvement
Independent worker with proven time management capabilities
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
Big data analytics knowledge and experience
Process and project management development
Solid decision-making aptitude to support business goals
Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant business areas
