Roles and Responsibilities
The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for providing data insights in addition to maintaining and optimising data systems. The professional is expected to deliver reports to clients and build internal company reports with the help of BI tools, collaborate with software developers on embedding reports in applications, and interact closely with business partners and engineering teams of the company to determine analytics and reporting needs.
The Business Intelligence Developer will also design, develop, and implement data warehouse architecture and business process automation solutions to meet analytics and reporting needs of the business as well as improve and automate recurring business processes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in data science and BI tools
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Exago
- Experience in scripting complex stored procedures and database functions
- Experience ETL and automated business processes
- Experience building data models for statistical/predictive analysis/AI
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Information Technology or any related course
- Hands-on experience with several database technologies preferably RDBMS (SQL Server, Postgres, and MySQL) and Big Data cloud technologies (AWS, S3, Glue, and Redshift)
- Hands-on experience in developing API integrations
A Successful Candidate must have
- Experience / Knowledge of Front-End development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Significant experience / knowledge of other essential BI tools
- Ability to read and write code in SQL and optimize stored procedures
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong analytical and SQL skills
- Analytical mindset
