Job Summary
The data analyst holds one of the most powerful roles within our operation. Through intelligent gathering of data and the way you present it you will be the key player in "leveling up" our operations.
It will be your job to help every single person become optimized, the leadership team become more strategic and the clients become more successful.
You will understand the data flow throughout the business from inputs and outputs to reports and trackers and take all of this to the next level. Automate, innovate and replicate wherever possible to save time, improve efficiency and ultimately increase conversions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Build, automate and maintain all relevant reporting throughout the organization
Look for and recommend tools that would make our operation more powerful and dynamic
Improve Tableau reporting structure, improving the speed & ease of use of reports and making them easy to find
Write & manage complex SQL queries to provide insights on key business challenges
Ad hoc data tasks including SEO & backlink analysis, user behavior analysis, and vertical performance
Document database structure and provide recommendations to clean and streamline the architecture
Build relationships with the Sales, Contact Finding and QA teams to understand their data flows and reporting needs. Proactively offer reporting solutions to drive better results and efficiencies
Edits and formats basic to moderately complex analytical reports for submission to clients and other team members
Work Experience
Proven experience in BI and reporting fields
Experience building & maintaining dashboards in Tableau
Experience writing SQL scripts to extract data from a SQL database or create views to support easier data extraction
Experience in building reports in Microsoft Excel (using Vlookups, Index/match, Pivot Tables, Charts, array formulas)
Experience building & maintaining reports in Salesforce (bonus)
