Business Development Representative
We have an immediate need for a Business Development Representative to research and generate sales leads with US-based companies. This individual will be responsible for building connections with companies in need of business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions. Previous experience in sales or business development is required!
Responsibilities:
Generate leads through market research of US-based startups or growing boutique retailers
Conduct cold calls and send marketing emails to prospective clients and partners
Build connections in order to provide an introduction to Compass and our BPO services
Maintain detailed records of sales leads and/or customer accounts
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements and Characteristics:
Excellent written and verbal English
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional presence
Experience as a sales representative and/or sales lead generation
Outgoing and positive demeanor
Self-starter, able to work independently and seek out information when needed
Able to connect with clients, customers and fellow employees through our provided communication platforms which include phones, email
Must be able to commit to your work schedule, be punctual and accountable for your actions
Remain engaged and responsive to all internal communications. Nobody likes to be ghosted.
Keen problem solver with the ability to think on your feet
Encouraged to express your opinion within the context of professionalism
Work with humility -- be open to coaching and continuous improvement

Availability:
Full Time - 40 hrs/week
