Description
We are looking for a well-rounded business planning expert who will support our team of Business and Financial advisors in the development of a business plan, feasibility studies and other market research work for small to mid-size businesses in the USA.
The candidate must possess an adept knowledge of the entire process of writing and developing a business plan, not only for a start-up but also for existing businesses that want to scale up their operations or would want to diversify. This candidate must also have a strong financial acumen, as the work will involve financial reviews, forecasting and modelling.
Responsibilities:
Here are some of the expected duties of the Business Planning Specialist:
1) Develops and writes Business Plan which can be presented to investors or funding institutions.
2) Conducts various research work such as market study, in relation to developing the business plan
3) Prepares the documentation required for the investors' / lender's due diligence
4) Reviews and updating of existing business plans
5) Gathers, collects and compiles all pertinent documents and information about the business to be used in creating the business plan
6) Analyzes and reviews financial statements and financial data of the business
7) Creates financial models or drafts financial projections, i.e. Profitability, etc.
8) Regularly provides updates, insights or pertinent information towards developing the practice of creating a business plan
9) Trains and mentors other junior staff
10) Other ad hoc duties which may be assigned as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of any 4 year Business Course, preferably in Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Marketing, Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience working in a similar role or capacity as a Business Plan writer
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong research skills and ability to understand and interpret data
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Adept use of Microsoft Office365 applications such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word Document
- Internet savvy
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Highly organize and result-oriented
- Willing to work or relocate in Pampanga
- Willing to work on site and home-based if necessary
Advantages
