BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Reporting to: CEO, BASHI
Level: Officer (Entry Position)
Salary Grade: Negotiable
Position Description:
The role will support the business development activities of KaonTa. He/she will lead in the development of business opportunities, creative solutions to define the product features and specifications of the project particularly establishing the needs of the customers (sellers, buyers, service users, service providers or clients) for the project.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Developing and sustaining solid relationships with assigned project customers (service providers, sellers, riders, and buyers).
Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning, and its translation to product features and functionalities.
Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities along the same business lines or industries.
Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
Support company executives to present company offerings and negotiate business deals with potential partners and/or investors.
Support administrative and office management tasks.
Others as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Person Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field.
2-3 years proven experience working as a Business Development Officer or similar role, preferably in the FMCG, food, transportation and IT industries.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, incl. mobile apps, and social media.
The ability to travel as needed.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and basic management skills.
Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
Effective communication skills.
Strong business acumen.
Detail-oriented.
