The Business Development Manager oversees and manages the entire sales operation. You will focus on maintaining and developing long-term client-business relationships and opportunities. You are key to growing the business and ensuring all objectives are met.Key Responsibilities & Duties
Team Leadership & Development:
Manage and oversee the entire Business Development Department.
Shadow and guide all Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in their day-to-day tasks.
Train personnel and help team members develop their skills.
Develop goals for the team and for business growth, ensuring they are consistently met.Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management:
Maintain a well-developed and nurtured pipeline of prospects.
Develop strong, ongoing relationships with leads.
Prospect and qualify new sales leads.
Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects.
Meet and/or exceed set goals.Operations, Data & Coordination:
Track all activities in Salesforce (SF), maintain tasks, and keep current by regularly updating account information.
Communicate lead pain points and challenges to Placements and Account Managers (AMs).
Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
Maintain correct data entry into the Sales Report.
Coordinate sales-related initiatives with other departments (e.g., Marketing/Advertising, Placements, Account Management).
Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.What We're Looking For: Qualifications
We are seeking a highly self-motivated leader with excellent business acumen and a proven ability to drive growth.Top 5 Non-Negotiables:
5 years of sales management experience in staffing solutions.
Ability to coach and train new hires and existing team members.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
A deep understanding of marketing principles.Required Skills & Experience:
Proven track record of successfully handling customer relationships.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Proficiency in running, analyzing, and interpreting reports in CRM (Salesforce).
Working knowledge of Salesforce and RingCentral.
