As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for performing active business development - in line with the respective division strategy - in countries where infrastructure as well as business situation needs to have more attention and focus. Reporting to Local Division Manager, you will be supporting business in terms of product, application and solution knowledge, segment and customer (group) support for the assigned part of the product portfolio, ensuring the deployment of the strategic plan of the division. This position is based in Paraaque City, Philippines.
Your responsibilities
Defining developing and executing the strategies and business plans on focus segments/channel/applications for identified markets in collaboration with the local sales & marketing teams and Global Product Group (GPG) functions, in line with the overall division strategy to achieve defined targets
Ensuring KPIs achievements of defined targets (orders as well as product mix, net price variance (NPV), sales cost/expense and Net Promoter Score (NPS), etc.), in collaboration marketing function and GPG team, for new product launches (revenues on new products, sales start in key markets, etc.)
Supporting growth of the top line in each market and find and creating new business opportunities. Implementing activities on agreed cross division/product group/region initiatives
Understanding segment / channel / customer needs in the market. Developing and implementing product support and product training to ensure high customer satisfaction in cooperation with product management and global team
Implementing division standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and share functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization
Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed. Building an effective, capable and high performing organization. Developing talent, appoints managers and reviewing effectiveness
Managing via global sales operations function, the level 2 commercial and technical support towards Local Sales Unit (LSU) and as interface to GPG
Guiding and supporting local product marketing teams and ensures the right capability is in place. Supporting local organization in the execution of product launches
Your background
Bachelor's degree in engineering
6-8 years of sales, business development or marketing experience in product solutions
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
