NOTE: This position will be on a hybrid set-up and may require you to travel. Majority of your time will be in our site at Sto. Tomas, Batangas
First Philippine Industrial Park is looking for a Business Development Analyst who will be responsible for the analysis of trends, market scanning and research, and conducting pre-feasibility and feasibility studies on potential business development projects. Together with the Head, you will develop the business model and present the studies for the approval of top management. With directions and guidance from the Head, you will execute the approved projects and ensure that they are completed on time and within the approved budget. Guided by the business model, you will prepare the new business unit for operations and management, and monitor its performance.
What you'll be doing:
Market Research and Sensing
Identifies and recommends opportunities based on reading of market trends and analysis of internal and external research
Helps refine the business concept by identifying opportunities and gaps based on market research and client/locator data
Collaborates with Market Research Team in the conduct of research
Network with key external contacts and locators (if needed) for leads for properties and possible service opportunities, respectively
Business Development
Develop the pre-feasibility and feasibility studies with the Head.
With inputs from various data sources, including major assumptions from management, develops the financial model of the project and present results and insights to top management
Develop the financial model with the Analyst. He or she must be able to fill in, for cases when the analyst is not available
Together with the Head, prepare and deliver presentations of studies for approval
Provide inputs on the design of the business and operational process for new business units
Prepare the units for operations and management
Monitor the performance of the new business unit based on the approved KPIs. Provide recommendations on performance if necessary
Project Management
With directions from the Head, execute approved projects together with internal (Support and other BUs) and external partners/stakeholder (LGUs or partner companies) using end-to-end project management (including administration duties) or an Agile approach
Propose composition of project management team, workflow, and cadence
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and observes risk mitigation for identified risks
What we're looking for:
Must be a graduate of any of the following courses: Business Management/Administration, Marketing or Economics
Previous experience as business/financial analyst is preferred.
Must have working experience in business development and project management
Must have negotiation, networking, and management skills
Knowledgeable in the preparation of financial projections
Proficient in MS Office
