Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive requests from departments
Canvass from various supplier quotation and get costing for comparison and references
Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers
Get the best deal for the company- the highest quality goods and services at the lowest cost
Manage Purchase Orders and maintain records
Monitor purchase orders to ensure that suppliers comply with delivery time and item specification
Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact suppliers when there are discrepancies
Coordinate Office repairs and maintenance
Answer and route phone calls
Qualifications:
Graduate of any 4-year business course
Preferably with 1-2 years related exposure in accounting functions
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Ability to multi task and can work well under pressure
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
