About The Role:
Sterling is looking to hire a Business Analyst to join our Reporting & Analytics team. You will be responsible to design and own the full life cycle of projects for our Salesforce & Looker Platforms with the guidance of the R&A leader. This position requires a detail-oriented approach to spot possible data discrepancies/issues, perform root cause analysis, and help troubleshoot errors. You will need to utilize clear written and verbal communication to collaborate cross functionally, to drive process improvements and optimization.
This Is What You'll Do:
Maintain and improve existing data models and metrics, while developing and introducing new analytical frameworks for optimization.
Communicate with internal customers to identify problems, create solutions, and implement improvements.
Utilize technical expertise to successfully collaborate with Platform Support Teams on open issues.
Create visualization tools and dashboards to drive efficiency and provide insights to internal customers.
Write business requirement documents for the Development team, to assist with building new processes.
Develop user reference guides and implement training materials for internal customers/users.
Lead collaborative and cross functional meetings to gather user feedback, implement new solutions, roll out strategies, and assess roll out and adoption.
This Is The Job For You If You Have:
At least 2 years of work experience with data analysis and implementing technical solutions.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work with strong attention to detail and effective execution
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong work-ethic and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills. Proficiency in PowerPoint.
Experience with creating visual diagrams of process flows.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of logic language to create queries (SQL preferred.)
Experience with Salesforce and Looker or similar platforms preferred.
Bachelor's degree in data science or analytics field.
