MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Business Analyst for one of our clients based in US. The company is a leader in the entertainment industry specializing in ticketing for live events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Document complex technological topics in a way that stakeholders can understand
• Work cross functionally to ensure understanding across departments
• Mapping current/future state business and technical processes as needed
• Providing recommendations on how to improve system applications, processes, and tools
• Creating storyboards, user stories, and other narrative functional requirements
•Preparing wireframes, click thrus, flowcharts, process models and other visual representation of requirements using Miro, figma and other tools
• Reviewing design documents to ensure requirements are correctly implemented
• Proactively identify potential changes in project requirements, including scope, issues and risks
• Develop test scripts to be used by yourself and others to test our software
• Conducting meetings and presentations to brainstorm, share ideas, and findings
• Managing multiple priorities and multiple projects concurrently.
• In the first month, you'll
o Get up to speed on current technical projects
o Meet each contributor and understand their areas of expertise
o Work with the team to develop work product to be executed on by engineers
o Work with the team to understand the long term roadmap of the company
o Get up to speed on the live event industry
• In the first three months, you'll
o Own the roadmap prioritization and iteration planning process for internal and external engineering projects
o Monitor our product development process to understand where the common bottlenecks are
o Document our process for new hires
o Make improvements to our process that reduce unneeded bloat and make the team happier
o Make improvements to our market research and inventory requests process to increase the efficiency of these system
To be successful, you should be:
• A degree holder in Information Technology, Engineering, or any related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
