CGI is looking for a self-motivated Business Analyst to join an established team supporting a core system for a large financial client in Cary, NC. We are seeking a BA (7-10 years) with experience in Fixed Income Trading Process. The system has high transparency within the organization, and is used by many prominent customers. This role offers flexibility of joining a team using Agile methodologies to deliver high quality software to our customers. Your future duties and responsibilities: Partner with internal and external collaborators Consult with internal team members to collect and detail client requirements, identifying any gaps in functionality between current and desired future state and analyzing functional business problems and potential solutions Write project documentation, including statements of scope, detailed business requirements, results, and plans Craft project testing plans and test scripts facilitate client acceptance testing Must be a self-starter with ability to build working relationships and ability to work effectively with various office locations in the US. As a subject matter authority for order and trade workflows and interfaces you facilitate meetings and communication with vendors and team members Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Preparing and producing releases of software components Participating in scrum events Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 5 to 7 years relevant business analysis experience in the securities industry Strongly Preferred : 2-5 years' experience working directly with Fixed Income traders and sales, deep understanding of the sales & trading workflow Knowledge on Broadridge product Impact would be highly desired Basic programming knowledge (e.g., VBA or Python) a plus, but not required Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field #LI-TSCH1 Skills: Business Analysis Workflow VBA What you can expect from us: Insights you can act on While technology is at the heart of our clients' digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.
