POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supporting Entertainment and Guest Activities by preparing and monitoring financial guidelines, standards, and associated products and services. Provides problem resolution in a fast-paced environment involving multiple projects and priorities.
Support all Entertainment and Guest Activities financial projects and analysis. Liaise with Financial Operations team and coordinate with managers and specialists in Entertainment Dept. and the Shipboard Management Teams to gather, analyze, summarize and create budgets and forecasts.¿ Maintain continuous contact with Entertainment team to keep current on business developments.
Consult with business unit management and personnel to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, and requirements.
Analyze the entertainment and activities financials, ratings and guest satisfaction for all of our products and new deployments.
Analyze production, inventory control, distribution, cost analysis, finance, marketing, human resources and other business functions in order to support the Entertainment and Guest Activities Department.
Identify and expand revenue generating opportunities for shipboard programming.
Prepare evaluations, reports and analysis of financial plans and operating forecasts.
Review & prepare preliminary capital plans and assist CAR managers with preliminary analysis and reporting.
Review and analyze monthly shipboard account expenditures; report accordingly.
Review and analyze monthly expense and shipboard revenue trends; report accordingly.
Track actual expenses vs plan for Production DEARS.
Provide analytical data to support revenue opportunities or suggest efficiencies.
Prepare initial Entertainment Dept. G & A plan for submission to Financial Operations Team.
Conduct feasibility studies including cost benefit analysis of business model changes including studio facilities expansion, outsourcing and insourcing
Track revenue generating onboard events and activities and report monthly.
Prepare corporate presentations.
Assist with special projects.
Provide analytical support for the following processes:

Net Promoter Score
SQM
Par Level reconciliation
Education
BA in finance or accounting.¿ 2 to 4 years financial experience including a strong background in business/financial planning and analysis skills. Hotel or travel industry experience a plus. Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical/computer modeling and presentation skills. Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations. Must have strong command of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel. Prior experience with Essbase a plus. Must be able to work independently.
