BUILDING MANAGER
 
JOB SUMMARY:
 
Responsible for the overall maintenance, safety and efficient operation of all hotel facilities and building systems. This includes managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, supervising engineering and maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards and supporting the smooth operation of all hotel services.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
 
BUILDING OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs and renovations to keep the building in good condition. This includes managing preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC electrical, plumbing, elevators, stand-by generator set and fire safety systems
Conduct regular inspections of common areas, facilities and equipment.
Oversee repairs, preventive maintenance and utility management (electricity, water elevators, etc)
Coordinate with service providers and contractors for major repairs and renovations
ADMINISTRATION AND COORDINATION
Maintain records of building activities, service requests and maintenance logs
Prepares reports, notices and correspondence for guests or residents
Assist in implementing building policies and house rules SAFETY, SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE
Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures (e.g., fire drills, earthquake preparedness)
Ensure compliance with local building codes, sanitation, environmental and safety regulations. Coordinate with local authorities for inspections and permits
Maintain updated permits & licenses. This includes managing the renewal of Business Permit, Licenses and other related government regulation of business.
And performs other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
At least three (3) years of experience in hotel engineering, maintenance or building management
Strong understanding of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC and fire safety)
Excellent leadership, problem solving, and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies
