WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?
Operation and Maintenance of Electrical system, fire detection alarm system, KNX lighting system, central battery system, generator set, emergency lighting system, and building management system. Support daily operations and work on shifting patterns.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics and Communication Engineering or related engineering course
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the operations and maintenance of Electrical Systems or at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry supervising BMS, Automation, or Electrical installation
English, both written and spoken
Knowledgeable SAP EAM, ERF systems
Willing to work on a shifting schedule
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Operation and Management
Responsible for the operations and maintenance of:
a. High Voltage
b. Medium Voltage
c. Low Voltage
d. Switch Gear Panels
e. Control Panels
f. Building lights and small power * Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot various electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systems for correct operation; prepare corresponding reports for any abnormality found in cost estimates for work.
Ensure equipment, materials, and tools are on hand for work execution. Reports resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework, or deferred maintenance as required; ensure all tasks & activities are logged and updated.
Implement of routine PM checks including vibration & temperature inspections of designated electrical and electronic equipment and ensuring logging or recording of all readings; including preliminary assessment and report on as-found conditions.
Prepares records and reports in a daily and weekly manner. Maintains logs and reading.
Supervises On-site Contractor work execution (if any) inclusive of crane rigging and lifting operations as designated.
Conduct minor repairs to static equipment as required - breakers, control units, PLC, lighting, convenience outlets, etc.
Reporting & Documentation:
a. Maintain updates and organize the documentation to keep records not limited to trends, supplier performance, and analysis.
b. Ensure documentation is aligned on IMS documentation set standard * Contract & Compliance:
a. Ensure contracts for outsourced services are timely updated.
b. Ensure work complies with standards, tolerances, and fits & works by sound engineering practices on all jobs, EHS procedure, governing local regulation, and corporate guidelines.
c. Any modification in the system is aligned with the Management of change and robustification standards. * Coordination & Communication:
a. Assist with equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution development and implementation.
b. Liaison with & assisting other Engineering Departments as required. * Safety and Improvement
a. Support improvement project implementation requiring electrical works and other related task
b. Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
c. Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor, and eliminate them within their authority and ability to do so. * Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labor law, corporate guidance, internal regulations, and work performance instructions.
