BRAND PACKAGING DESIGNER

Level : Mid (3-5 years)
Job Description:
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand packaging requirements, including brand guidelines, product specifications, and target audience.
Conceptualize and create packaging designs that align with clients' brand identities, product positioning, and marketing objectives.
Develop 2D and 3D packaging mockups and prototypes to present design concepts effectively.
Incorporate structural considerations, materials, and printing techniques to ensure functional and visually appealing packaging solutions.
Select appropriate colors, typography, graphics, and imagery to enhance packaging aesthetics and convey brand messaging.
Create dielines and artwork templates for production purposes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to printing guidelines.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging packaging technologies, and sustainable packaging practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure packaging designs align with overall brand strategies and product requirements.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify packaging design trends and opportunities for differentiation.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet project deadlines, and maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Packaging Design, or a related field
At least 3 years' experience as a Packaging Designer, preferably within a toy packaging, design agency or consumer packaged goods industry
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of packaging design projects, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of brand aesthetics
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Knowledge of packaging production processes, materials, and printing techniques
Familiarity with dielines, structural design, and artwork preparation for packaging production.
Understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and collaborate with stakeholders
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs
Must be flexible, adaptable, innovative and self-motivated
Amenable for 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM shift, Monday-Friday Onsite
