Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the company's brand presence, drive customer engagement, and achieve business objectives. This role will lead the development and execution of brand marketing campaigns, manage brand communications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints. The Brand Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and growing the company as a leading petroleum brand in the Philippines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company's overall vision and objectives. Identify target market segments, analyze market trends, and conduct competitor research to drive brand differentiation and enhance market positioning.
2. Marketing Campaign Management:
Plan, execute, and oversee integrated marketing campaigns that effectively promote Unioil's products, services, and brand values. Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
3. Brand Identity and Communication:
Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all marketing materials, digital platforms, social media channels, and physical assets. Maintain brand guidelines and ensure adherence throughout the organization.
4. Product Launches and Promotions:
Coordinate product launches and promotional activities to drive product awareness and customer engagement. Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
5. Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
Drive Unioil's online presence through effective digital marketing strategies, SEO, social media campaigns, and website optimization. Leverage digital channels to engage customers and build brand loyalty.
6. Advertising and Media Relations:
Manage advertising agencies and media partners to create impactful marketing communications. Optimize media buying strategies to maximize brand exposure and return on investment.
7. Budget Management:
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives within budgetary constraints.
8. Market Research and Consumer Insights:
Conduct market research to gain a deep understanding of consumer behavior, preferences, and market trends. Utilize consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.
9. Brand Performance Analysis:
Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, market share, and customer feedback. Prepare regular reports for senior management with actionable insights and recommendations.
10. Partnerships and Sponsorships:
Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities and sponsorships that align with the brand's values and target audience. Negotiate and manage partnerships to maximize brand exposure and mutual benefits.
11. Public Relations and Corporate Communication:
Collaborate with the PR team to manage brand reputation and crisis communication effectively. Foster positive relationships with media, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
12. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of marketing professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.
Skills & Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
. At least 10 years experience in brand management or marketing roles someone who has been exposed to brand management and strategy from the ground up.
. Experience can be from the following industries: Petroleum, Oil, FMCG, Multinational Marketing Agencies.
. Strong understanding of marketing principles, brand strategy, and consumer behavior.
. Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive business results.
. Preferably with basic photoshop and Canva experience.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
. Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and develop unique marketing solutions.
. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
. Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and online analytics tools.
. Familiarity with the Philippine market and industry trends is advantageous.
. Leadership experience and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
