We are looking for an Officer-In-Charge with efficient and effective development & execution of branch planning strategies. The position provides a broad experience within Shipping/Maritime Industry and has the potential to progress further in your career.
Responsibilities:
Leads the entire branch operation including container yard management and driving productivity & profitability of the branch. Fulfilling the commercial obligations to its customers in a safe and cost-effective manner.
OIC must ensure compliance with maritime regulations and waterfront safety practices.
Responsible working with executive leadership, in container yard and vessel operations.
In charge of staff and customer management.
Demonstrate planning on a strategic level, and must possess leadership capabilities to work
collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
Strategically plan and roll-out approved plans to increase sales, and market visibility
Develop new accounts, provides a superior level of customer service and promote the service
culture through coaching, guidance & staff motivation.
Oversees branch teller, cashiering and collection.
Qualifications:
6-8 years of experience on Sales and Operations
Must be organized to efficiently maintain and manage assigned area
Must be able to work under pressure and within the time constraints
Must be able to communicate well
Able to work cooperatively with other teams
Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
Ability to meet sales and operational targets
Familiarity with industry's rules and regulations
Excellent organizational skills
Results driven and customer focused
Leadership and human resources management skills
