Job Description
The Branch Manager is overall responsible for all operations of his/her respective BASCo branch, covering sales, warehousing & logistics, accounting & collection. The position is accountable for the delivery of branch goals which include, but are not limited to: sales, volume, customer acquisition, receivables and efficient operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
BASCo Branch Operations:
In alignment with BASCo management, defines branch goals and develops strategies and plans to achieve these
Drives execution of plans and monitors results, making course corrections as necessary
Manages cross-functional team of direct reports, ensures team members operate at a high level of performance
Responsible for operational relationship with third-party service providers such as warehousing and logistics suppliers
Represents BASCo in the territory his/her respective branch operates
Keeps abreast of market developments and trends, including competitive activity, adjusts tactics and plans as required to capture opportunities and mitigate threats
Together with Sales and Sales Support Specialists, ensures effective and regular coverage of end-users in the territory, proactively finding ways to serve their needs, and driving customer loyalty
Works with Warehouse & Logistics Specialist to oversee supply/demand planning, ensuring successful inventory management, inbound & outbound logistics, and warehousing operations
With the Accounting Analyst, oversees credit and collection management, ensuring the branch meets financial goals, particularly around receivables
Leverages relationship with wider Pilmico & Aboitiz organizations in support of branch goals
Ensures effective and efficient use of company assets and resources
Captures learnings and shares best practices across the organization
Food Safety:
Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company;
Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
Other Tasks:
Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.;
Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
Educational Requirement:
A graduate or minimum two years of study of any four year course, preferably in Management, Business Administration, Marketing
Experience Required:
At least one (1) years experience in related work
Critical Skills and Competencies Required:
Ability to articulate ideas and communicate them clearly, confidently and effectively both verbally and in writing;
Ability to understand abstract or general ideas and apply them to specific situations;
Knowledge and understanding of the use, capabilities and limitations of Basco products;
Ability to articulate and convey relevant industry-related information;
Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of electronic spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications.
