Job Description
We're hiring for a Branch Manager!
Rural Bank of San Antonio is in need of a Branch Manager to be assigned in Lipa Head Office
Get to Know the Role:
1. Supervising/Managing Branch Operations
It is crucial for the bank branch manager to know and understand internal bank policies to effectively oversee regular operations. As a manager, it is your responsibility to ensure that the bank can service its customers in a secure and efficient way. Through your leadership and expertise, it is expected that the daily activities and reportorial requirements are met. Likewise, hiring and training of branch staff is necessary to enable the branch to meet business expectations.
2. Customer Relationship Management
As the main point-of-contact with clients, you are responsible for providing good customer service, which improves the bank’s relationship with its customers. By acting as a conduit and face of the bank’s services, you are expected to see to it that customer requests and concerns are addressed, as long as those requests do not conflict with bank policy. You are to ensure all customer’s requests are received and properly attended to.
3. Revenue Growth
For the branch operations to remain sustainable, specific growth targets need to be met. This relates to dposit loans, and other revenue generating activities of the company. You are responsible for developing and implementing marketing and other such activities to grow the bank’s customer base, as well as its dposit and loan portfolio.
Day-to-day Activities:
1. Supervises and mentors staff
Directly oversees staff administration, such as performance monitoring and management as well as enforcing company work policies.
2.Oversee operational functions and provide solutions
Understands the various processes and procedures of the bank and complies with the requirements of the various services provided by the company.
3. Provide excellent customer service
Attends to customer requests and concerns, making sure that a high level of customer service is maintained.
4. Meet with customers and resolve problems/complaints
Reaches out to customers to address problems that arise from operations
5. Monitors targets
Implements marketing plans to reach targets
Qualifications/Experience:
• People management skills
• Customer-focused and results-oriented
• Operational experience
• Good communication and negotiating skills
• Preferably with 2 to 5 years of Managerial experience in banking and finance
