JOB DESCIPTION :
1. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
a. Contribute to the growth of the Company through the:
• Attainment of sales plan
• Development of existing intermediaries
• Recruitment of agents in the key cities and municipalities of the area assigned to you
• Attainment of renewal/persistency ratio plan
b. Contribute to the profitability of the Company.
c. Manage, supervise and operate the business affairs of the Company at the Branch level under the terms, conditions and limitations herein stipulated and subject to the order, instructions, memoranda, circulars and regulations which may be issued from time to time by the Company.
d. Direct supervision and control of the following Branch Marketing Assistants.
e. Perform the duties and responsibilities without prejudice to the revocation of said appointment at any time for cause.
2. Within the limits of your authority, you are in consultation and coordination with Head Office work units and responsible for:
HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION
a. Supervise the Branch Marketing Assistants.
b. Recommend the promotion of personnel under your supervision.
c. Endorse for approval on the hiring and dismissal of Branch Personnel under your supervision.
d. Ensure the compliance of Branch Staff to Handbook on Personnel Policies and Employee Benefits.
e. Sign policies, endorsements, renewal documents and other documents upon authority given by the Board or upon delegation by responsible Officers.
f. Ensure harmonious working relationship with personnel.
3. You shall be guided by the following General Management Procedures:
a. You shall train and guide your staff in accordance with our Company's guidelines for them to have the proper and positive attitude towards work.
b. You shall closely coordinate with the Branch Administrative Officer (BAO) to plan and control the efficient operation of the Branch.
c. You shall adhere to the reporting system covering your scope of operations as to give the Regional Head, your immediate superior, and other work units timely and adequate information and guidance.
d. You shall keep your superiors currently informed of your activities and decision for which they may be held accountable.
e. You shall exert every effort to establish sound and cordial relations with the Company's clients, intermediaries, government offices, institutions, industry associations, and the public in general.
f. You shall have direct supervision and control on the Company properties as well as official records and documents.
g. You shall maintain harmonious working relationship with the Branch personnel and intermediaries.
h. You shall abide by existing Company policies and procedures.
