The Branch Accountant is primarily responsible in the performance of accounting functions for the existing food shops to ensure that objectives and deliverables are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Invoicing
1.1. Checking of issued invoices by the branch personnel.
1.1.1. Validates all supporting documents related to the sales transactions
1.1.2. Performs matching of data entered in the system against the supporting documents
1.2. Validates and process credit memos
1.3. Prepare daily reports related to Open Sales Invoice and Credit Memos
1.4. Maintains customer files
1.5. Prepare reports related to Invoicing as required to complete the month-end closing procedures
2. Accounts Receivable
2.1. Posting and application of customer's payment in the system.
2.2. Checking and posting of bank deposit related to customer's payment.
2.3. Prepare daily reports related to over/short customer's payment
2.4. Prepare reports related to accounts receivable as required to complete the month-end closing procedures
3. Conduct food shop audit in terms of cash, inventory, and fixed assets
4. Assist in the completion of projects assigned to the team
5. File and maintain all accounting records and reports within his/her function
6. Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
7. Complies with the Company's Quality Management System
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or any accounting related course
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience with exposure to Order to Cash function
Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot, Lookups, formulas etc.)
Experience in any ERP (Microsoft NAV, SAP, Quickbooks)
Positive and confident personality.
Organized and has great attention to details
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills
Can work independently and with a team
