The Position and Tasks
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Bookkepper for a permanent home-based position in Cebu. The successful candidate will manage all our book keeping.
You will be responsible for:
Bookkeeping
Manage the accounting & ensure accurate recording of entries
Entering billings and invoices into Cin7 and Xero accounting systems
Assist our Australian accountant
Ensure accuracy of data and reporting
Enter and analyse data
Accounts payable/receivable
Preparation, monitoring and reporting of budgets, P&L and financial statements
Banking
Paying and finalising GST
Reporting on financial data
Other finance jobs
Qualifications:
Experienced in Xero
Familiarity with Australian banking functions
Accounts payable/receivable exposure
5 years' experience with Australian Bookkeeping processes
General administration
Excel spreadsheets
Ability to problem solve and learn on the run
A general experienced bookkeeper is required
As a working from home job, its expected you have your own computer, fast internet and a quiet interruption free working environment
Successful applicant will work under direction/supervision from the Management team in Sydney, Australia.
Must Have these Skills:
Must be a qualified bookkeeper with min 5 years experience in Australian bookkeeping
Must know and have used Xero for a min of 5 years.
Knowledge and experience in Cin7 Core.
Have an excellent command of English in both oral and written
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Office, Excel and outlook)
Ability to be adaptable, multitasking on numerous tasks throughout the working day
Trustworthy and willing a passion for accuracy
Responsibilities:
Med-High level volume of data entry: accurately receiving invoices and preparing orders
Chasing up payments with Australian customers
Daily Banking
Invoicing
Preparing accurate end of month reports including P&L and balance sheets
Preparing pays for Cebu and Australian staff
Paying bills
Preparing and lodging entitlements including Australian Super
Managing and collecting staff leave
Lodging GST, GST credits
Inputting purchase orders and invoices
