Roles and Responsibilities
Performs a variety of full-charge, cloud-based, outsourced bookkeeping, payroll sales tax, and other services for small businesses
Assists clients with support relating to the use of their accounting software
Identifies client satisfaction issues and reviews the issues on a timely basis with the Accounting Operations
Be able to enter transactions, reconcile numerous, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, answer phones, and respond to client-related emails
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to write simple journal entries
Ability to manually enter transactions into accounting software from statements, and allocate accordingly
Ability to prepare clear, concise financial records and reports
Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and detail-oriented abilities to meet established work output timelines
Ability to work with limited supervision
Possess a passion to work with small business owners
Ability to develop and maintain effective client and employee relationships
Ability to work under pressure; possesses the stamina to meet the time deadlines inherent in the tax and accounting profession
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Accounting background or experience with accounting or bookkeeping
Preferred Tools and Software
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks desktop (Pro, Premier, or Enterprise), QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, SAGE
Work Set Up:
On-Site
Work Schedule: Day Shift, Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
