Our company is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to provide accurate and timely financial reports for the company. The Accountant/Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, and providing financial advice to management.

Requirements for the role:
At least 3 years experience in similar role
Minimum of 1 year of working experience with Australian businesses
Experience using XERO and Quickbooks
High attention to detail
Thinks outside the box
Need to be clear in spoken and written English communication
Strong Analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skill
Good internet speed and has capable hardware equipment to work successfully (laptop/desktop, camera and noise cancelling headset)
Tasks within the role include:
Prepare and maintain financial records for the company, including bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable
Review of client datafile; being Xero, Quickbooks
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other tax returns for the company in accordance with Australian taxation laws and regulations
Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Provide advice on financial matters to management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Other duties as required.
