What are we looking for:
We are searching for a Bookkeeper who will be working with our US client, based in Georgia. Our client is a fast-growing, US-based accounting firm providing CFO and bookkeeping services to empower entrepreneurs in the growing industry of e-commerce (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and more).
In this role, you will be focusing on overall bookkeeping for multiple customers and managing the duties and responsibilities as specified below.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable written and verbal English communication. The ideal candidate should be organized, passionate, and have a keen eye for detail and deadlines.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role, you will:
Assigning vendors to bank and credit card transactions and maintaining client vendor glossary
Categorizing all bank feed transactions keeping them current on a weekly basis
Utilizing e-commerce-specific software to capture revenue and cost of goods sold
Assist with onboarding new client data into a standardized chart of accounts
Exporting data from various e-commerce sales channels to capture revenue via journal entries
Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
Quarterly Inventory reconciliations
Answering client emails and providing customer service
Delivering monthly financial statements to clients
About You:
Core qualifications:
Knowledge of basic accounting/bookkeeping concepts
Strong written and oral communication skills
Minimum of 2 years Quickbooks Online experience
Experience preferred with calculating unit cost of goods sold
Ecommerce experience preferred including familiarity with Amazon Seller Central
Basic Excel experience
Time management and the ability to meet required deadlines
