Job Description:
Maintains an accurate records of company's financial transactions (*full accounting cycle)
Maintains records by ensuring proper filing of receipts, invoices, billing statements, and other documents as needed
Develop system for financial transactions by establishing a *chart of account
Ensure legal requirements compliance; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Handles all facets of company payables
Assists with other accounting functions including preparation of monthly financial statements, monthly tax reports, payroll and accounting administrative support management
Assists with general admin activities
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Performs other related duties that may be assigned by the management.
This position directly reports to the CFO and Tax Compliance Officer
This position works with external auditor for financial reconciliation
Minimum Qualifications
Job Qualifications/Skills:
At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping preferably in construction companies
Have a relevant experience in preparing book of accounts for Partnership and Corporation
Must have intermediate knowledge Bookkeeping
Understanding accounting best practices in bookkeeping
High attention to detail
Proficiency in MACROS for MS Excel
Professionalism and organization skills
Can work under pressure
Knowledge of Peachtree, ODOO and QuickBooks is an advantage.
Intermediate understanding in Taxation
Education and Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fields
Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB)/Member of Philippines Certified Bookkeepers (MICB)/Certified Tax Bookkeepers (CTB)
CPA License is an advantage but not required
Civil Service Professional is preferred but not required
