A2B Outsourcing is looking for a Bookkeeper who will support the Director and the Senior Bookkeeper of a Bookkeeping company in Victoria. This role will generally handle day-to-day entry-level bookkeeping work in the business. General duties will include routing bookkeeping functions, entering transactions, confirming the accuracy of the entered information related to bank reconciliations, helping prepare reports as necessary, and completing any other duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Senior Bookkeeper and other staff in maintaining all financial transactions and administration
Prepare and record day-to-day transactions of a business unit in books and ledgers (data entry)
Process, prepare and record invoices and vendor bills
Track, record and maintain expenditure records with details
Manage creditor payments if applicable at direction of client or senior bookkeeper
Reconcile debtors and creditors and ensure accuracy
Reconcile bank, credit card and loan accounts to statement
Maintain bookkeeping records, copying, and filing information as required
Basic payroll processing
Basic Superannuation returns
Support BAS agents with basic BAS and IAS calculations
Prepare query list for Senior bookkeeper
Assist Senior Bookkeeper in handling changes to accounting books and balances accounts
Support Senior Bookkeepers with basic BAS and IAS calculations
Assist Senior bookkeeper in EOFY prep running of reports
Performance Indicators
Key Performance Indicators will be provided in due course.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience
ESSENTIAL:
Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel and other relevant financial management packages.
Minimum of two years' experience in bookkeeping role.
DESIRABLE:
Knowledge of accounting software and/or relevant accounting packages eg. Xero, Intuit QBO, MYOB, Reckon, Receipt Bank, Hubdoc
Completion of an accredited bookkeeper course
Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting terminology and systems
Experience with business financial management
This is a full-time, office based role in Angeles City
