Responsibilities:
General reconciliation of books and financial transactions.
Maintain and update supplier invoices, ensuring they match up to statements and are correct in Xero.
Perform regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and rectify errors.
Follow up with suppliers for outstanding accounts and ensure timely payment.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement streamlined procedures.
Support other clerical business functions.
Supporting company invoicing process in collaboration with the Project Coordinator.
Collections and accounts receivable as required.
Other position-level duties as they arise.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 3+ years' bookkeeping experience.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Flexible and adaptable to work priorities.
