The role
As a Bookkeeper, you will work as part of a high-performing team to complete a range of financial administrative tasks. On a day-to-day basis, this will include data entry, processing and reconciling transactions, accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as payroll processing. You will have a minimum of two years of experience working with Australian accounting/bookkeeping firms.
General tasks
Accounts Payable processing
Accounts Receivable processing
Bank reconciliations
Payroll processing
Balance sheet reconciliation
Identifying and requesting missing or incomplete information
Responding to and assisting with client requests for information
Activity statement preparation
Recording of time
Use of systems such as:
Xero / MYOB / QuickBooks
Hubdoc/Dext
ApprovalMax
Deputy/Tanda
Xero Practice Manager
Excel/google sheets
Microsoft Teams
Key Technical Skills & Experience
Understanding of Australian basic finance process
Strong written & spoken English communication
Strong attention to detail in maintaining and inputting data accurately
Be able to work with task management systems to perform tasks daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly
Adapt to Australian time zones as required (7am - 4pm PH time)
Professional attitude and customer serviced based approach to dealing with all stakeholders
Self-motivated and able to work autonomously to deadlines
Proactive communication skills
