Job Responsibilities:
Email sales staff for client invoice payments
Data entry of approved invoices
Daily bank account reconciliation
Daily merchant payment reconciliation
Calculation and reconciliation of weekly shift staff pay using excel
Preparation of aged payables report (weekly) for payment approval
Processing of supplier payments ready for authorisation
Posting of FT staff Gross payments journals from payroll
Weekly sales reporting from CRM
Requirements
3-5 years of Australian bookkeeping experience
Proficient in MYOB Solid computer literacy
Strong understanding of accounting systems and functions
Strong understanding of debtor and creditor reporting and management
Strong financial acumen, reconciliation and reporting skills
Demonstrated ability to analyse financial data
Ability to collaborate and develop relationships across the business accounting and finance functions
Well-developed oral and written communication skills
Capable of understanding legislative, commercial, contractual and other financial reporting documents
Results orientated with a drive and energy for translating thought into action
Able to multitask and prioritise internal and external reporting accounting and finance functions and requirements
Able to be a self-starter and operate the accounting and finance functions of the business without daily supervision
