How You Spend Your Eight Hours
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Verify accurately recorded transactions in vendor ledgers, customer ledgers, and general ledgers
Run partial checks on the posting process
Enter data and maintain records
Work closely with accountants in preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Process accounts receivable and payable
Manage invoices and tax payments
Create daily management reports by collecting data from various online sources, accurately entering information into appropriate documents, and collaborating with accountants and clients
Communicate with clients and respond to various ad hoc requests
What You Must Possess
Bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles
Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry and customer service skills
Hands-on experience in spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Chat, Google Drive)
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and other cloud-based accounting software (Xero, NetSuite, Expensify, etc.)
Experience working as an offshore accountant or bookkeeper
Bachelor's degree in accountancy or related courses
Great attitude and desire to learn
