Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and filling GST returns
Assist in preparing and filling IAS returns (for AU clients only)
Liaise with Client Partners and ensure Onboarding / Change of Scope, Documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner
Liaise with Client Partners and prepare jobs for annual accounts
Companies Office administration, preparation, and filing
Billing support for Client Partners
Respond to general queries and attend to records and filing in a timely matter including system administration, document preparation and data entry
Undertake accounting / GST functions as directed
Other duties as directed
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in accounting essential
At least 1 - 2 years of similar experience
Knowledge and understanding of accounting and taxation concepts essential
Experienced with Xero and MYOB is preferred
Intermediate to advanced Proficiency in Excel
Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
Time management/organization: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
