BOOK INTERIOR DESIGNER
 
Position Overview:
 
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Book Interior Designer to craft visually appealing, readable, and professional layouts for both print and digital publications. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for typography, layout design, and storytelling through visual structure.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Design and format book interiors for print and digital editions
Collaborate with authors, editors, and project managers to achieve the desired creative vision
Select fonts, spacing, and layout styles that enhance readability and reflect the book's tone
Arrange text, images, tables, and other elements in a cohesive and balanced layout
Ensure consistency in style, formatting, and pagination across all sections
Prepare final files according to publishing and printing specifications
Review proofs and make revisions before final production
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and book design principles
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and other relevant publishing tools
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Creative eye for aesthetics with a focus on functionality and readability
Knowledge of print production and digital publishing standards (advantageous)
