BOOK COVER DESIGNER
 
Position Overview:
 
We are seeking a full-time Book Cover Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, candidates will create high-quality book covers for both print and digital platforms. Collaborating closely with our Project Managers, you will ensure that designs align with each author's vision and meet our production standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Design eye-catching and market-appropriate book covers.
Collaborate with the production team and incorporate feedback to meet print and digital standards.
Prepare final files for print, ensuring compatibility with platforms like KDP and Ingram Spark.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional graphic design experience, including book layout design.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of InDesign tools, including paragraph/character styles, tables of contents, baseline grids, indexing, and footnotes.
Experience preparing files for both print and digital formats.
Familiarity with KDP and Ingram Spark is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
