Job Description
Able to operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to duse metal segments using pricesses such as gas, tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW) flux cored arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy- acetylene
Able to operate angle grinders, electric saw and other power tools for preparing required parts that need to be welded
Able to fabricate stainless steel frames, fences and other stainless product request by the customer using GTAW (TIG) process.
Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly and welding operations
Able to determines required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallugry, geometry and welding techniques
Able to develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts
Able to lays out positions, and secured parts and assembles according to specifications using straightedge, combination square, calipers and ruler
Able to cut, prepare and create joints for fabrication or for use as structural members
Operate overhead crane and forklift for maneuvering parts at defined places safely
Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping
Fully responsible for the full welding of different type of piping and structural materials based on the applicable and approved welding procedure specification with or wihout test or examination
Fully understand the WPS to make sure that the welding is accordance to procedure
Maintain and provide quality welding performance for the percentages of rejection rate at the lowest level including VT, PT, UT, MT and RT
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
Must have a valid passport and can speak english
