Billing Specialist
What are we looking for:
We are searching for a Billing Specialist who will be working with our US client, based in New York. Our client is an ice cream and snacks company that makes products that are not only delicious, but also incredibly nutritious.
The successful candidate will be supporting the internal Finance Team. What the team needs for this role is someone who is very organized, detail oriented with an eagerness to learn new tools, and processes.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role, you will:
Day-to-day accounts receivables management: invoicing, recording payments, customer statements, collections, etc.
Researching and responding to inquiries; analyzing and resolving problems related to the payment process in a timely and thorough fashion
Defining and ensuring the processing of vendor invoices
Maintain master client billing status reports
Learn and utilize computer programs necessary to perform responsibilities, including Excel/MS Office, and Salesforce, EDI systems
Encode daily receipts into accounting system
Prepare,issue, send invoices and communicate with customers
Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by management
Maintaining and contributing to the statistical reporting on the incoming invoice process
Other tasks assigned by management in line with Accounting and/or Finance related.
About You:
Core qualifications:
1+ years of experience, specializing in general accounting experience or equivalent preferred
High attention to detail and organization is a must
Has strong initiative and able to work with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Excel
Excellent command of the English language (oral & written)
Very proactive, has a sense of responsibility, urgency and follow-thru
Can work during or overlapping US East Coast business hours
