BILLING OFFICER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Billing Officer is in charge of checking and reviewing Philhealth claims before transmittal. She must coordinate with processors and health care personnel for completion of requirements. She also prints transmittal letters and transmits claims to the Philhealth office.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills
BS Business or any related degree from an accredited school or equivalent experience and expertise.
With 3-5 years of experience as Billing Officer specifically handling philhealth claims
Has comprehensive knowledge on PhilHealth regulations, guidelines and policies with history of experience in the field.
Is able to build good rapport with clients and has a good "bedside" manner.
Demonstrates organizational skills including the ability to multitask, manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
Makes efficient use of time and resources and maintains an organized work environment.
Able to teach and communicate clearly to clients in an effective way.
Demonstrates the ability to act consistently with our core organizational values and exhibits leadership competencies.
Effective verbal and written communication skills including knowledge of technology and IT systems required by PhilHealth
Understands and upholds the ethics of confidentiality strictly.
Upholds honesty and accuracy in all work aspects.
Willing to work with marginalized clients.
Understanding of charitable services and programs.
Willing to continue education in the field PhilHealth and Social Work including but not limited to training and seminars related to the area of work.
Has understanding of ministry and biblical principles and is willing to work in a Christian non-profit organization to invest in the individual lives of our clients.
Salary: Php 15,000.00 - 17, 000.00
