We are looking for a Virtual Receptionist to handle calls for a multi-location eyecare practice. Eyecare industry experience is not required, BUT qualified candidates must be bilingual in English and Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese). As a Virtual Receptionist, you may be responsible for various receptionist and clerical duties for these optical practices.
As the front-line-employee, your role will be extremely important for maintaining or improving patient experience and satisfaction. Your goal should always be to make patients comfortable and well-informed.
Job duties and responsibilities
Answer all incoming calls and schedule appointments, redirect the calls or keep messages
Answer all the customers' questions and address their complaints
Gather required information from patient medical insurance providers
Prepare and manage outgoing mail
Check, sort, and forward emails
Place supply orders when necessary
Monitor and update records and files
Provide general administrative support for the practice
Job requirements and qualifications
Bilingual and fluent in English and Chinese (both dialects - Mandarin and Cantonese)
Knowledge of common online systems such as Gsuite, MS Office (especially Excel and Word), etc.
High School diploma
Additional qualifications will be a plus
