WELD POWERTOOLS & CONSTRUCTION CORP (WPCC) is domestic corporation that primarily deals with industrial items such as welding machines and electrodes, light construction equipment, electric motors, generators, solar product and allied items. Most of all, WPCC has been recognized as one of the leading supplier in the welding.
 
We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Bidding Quotationer to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and bid proposals. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales and project teams by ensuring timely and precise preparation of quotations for various construction and supply projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Bid Preparation & Submission:
Research and analyze tender documents, requests for proposals (RFPs), and bid invitations.
Prepare bid proposals, quotations, and necessary documentation.
Ensure all bid submissions comply with client requirements, company policies, and legal guidelines.
Coordinate with different departments (finance, legal, operations) to gather required bid details.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain and update bid documentation, including prequalification requirements.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
Track deadlines, submission dates, and bid status.
Cost Estimation & Pricing:
Assist in preparing cost estimates and pricing structures based on project requirements.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure competitive and profitable bid pricing.
Market Research & Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor bids, and industry developments.
Coordination & Communication:
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to obtain necessary bid inputs.
Prepare reports on bid performance, success rates, and feedback from clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience in cost estimation, bidding, or quantity surveying (preferred)
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Proficient in MS Excel and other estimating software
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and pricing
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Experience in construction, trading, or industrial supply industry
Strong negotiation and communication skills
