Qualifications:
With proven experience as Baker for 1-2 years
Certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking or related field is an advantage.
Has Practical Baking Skills
Knowledgeable in different types of pastry, dessert and cake decorating
Can work under pressure and with less supervision
Physically fit and healthy
Must be creative and resourceful
Possess good working attitude
Adheres to Safety and Hygiene regulations
Duties and Responsibilities:
Bakes a wide range of specialty breads, pastries and cakes by following a set of recipes.
Facilitate in monitoring of the stocks and ordering ingredients, supplies and equipment.
Ensure the pastry section adheres to health and safety regulations.
Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
Decorating cakes, pastries and desserts to ensure a tasteful and presentable appearance of goods.
