Job Description:
As Backup Administrator you are given tasks within implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our 2 Backup solutions, providing backup services for all company's applications. Solutions used are IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) and Commvault.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Expert knowledge in Commvault backup solution
Configuration, monitoring, administration, and maintenance of backup environment including Backup servers, backup storage, VTL, network configuration and clients
Configuration of backup solution on requested servers
Performing standard and test restores of requested files, folders, databases, and virtual machines
Performing disaster recovery tests
Having at least basic knowledge of Windows and Unix OS administration
Having at least basic knowledge of Bash, Shell and/or PowerShell scripting
Reporting department KPIs to top management
Representing Backup & Restore team in cross-department projects
Create and update documentation actively build teams knowledge base
Troubleshooting backup issues related to VMs and flat files
Troubleshooting backup issues related to IBM DB2, Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases
Perform in line with agreed procedures, SLAs, and customers expectations
Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law, and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company's intellectual property protection.

Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.
Education and skills:
University degree in IT or business studies or any related studies
Organizational skills: prioritize, plan, assign and control
Customer focus: monitors customer expectations continuously
Network and relationship building
Minimal work experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position (Backup Administrator)
Preferable work experience in IT Operations Center or Business Process Centers
High knowledge of Backup, Storage, and server areas
Operational mindset and cooperation skills
