BACK-END DEVELOPER
We are looking for an analytical, results-driven back-end developer who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. The Back-end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users. Collaborate with the front-end development team to design and implement API endpoints for data exchange between the server and client applications.
Customize and extend WooCommerce and WordPress functionality to meet specific project requirements.
Optimize database queries and improve overall system performance.
Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of code to identify and resolve issues.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development and e-commerce technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Backend Developer, specifically with WooCommerce and WordPress.
Strong proficiency in PHP programming language.
In-depth knowledge of WooCommerce and WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL.
Experience with API integration and development.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
