What you will be doing:
Directly working the senior developer on the immediate project of onboarding 100+ suppliers via API
Building our custom apps.
Engage with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
Review application requirements and interface designs.
Monitor and improve backend performance.
Document application changes and develop updates.
Help shape and scope the long-term strategy for the client's product presentation, automating the market process and improving profitability through custom app creation
Troubleshoot interface software and debug application codes.
Develop and implement backend architecture to support user interface concepts.
Document application changes and develop updates.
2+ years of experience in backend development
Solid experience in API integration and consumption and documentation
Solid experience with REST and Shopify API strategy, development and management
Experience using Laravel and php.
Solid experience with REST and Shopify API strategy, development and management.
Sold database experience (preferably mysql).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
Excellent understanding of software development with emphasis on backend and API best practice.
Desire to follow latest and emerging technology trends.
Experience with Ruby on Rails (desired but not required).
Know-how of debugging and testing software applications.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Desire to follow latest and emerging technology trends and learn new technologies.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
