Gloss is a successful U.S. Digital Marketing Agency founded in 2007, with a full-time staff in the Philippines since 2008.
We are seeking a full-time Backend Web Developer from the Philippines for a project estimated to take 30-50 hours.
The project requires the following skill sets:
High-level experience in PHP (5 years+)
In-depth knowledge of Object Oriented PHP (v5 to v8) and OO design patterns
Deep understanding and experience of the Laravel Framework and their toolset
Experience developing RESTful APIs, JSON, and multi-threaded web services.
Advanced experience in MySQL
Advanced knowledge and experience in web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript and AJAX
Good knowledge and experience in VueJS (v2)
Good knowledge of relational database and of developing web services
Linux/Unix server configuration skills
Experience in LEMP/LAMP configuration
Good knowledge of git version control tools, and experience collaborating with a team of developers.
Understanding of security practices
Writes clean, modular, and testable code
Regularly monitor, maintain and manage server, database backups, and logs
Manage and manipulate multiple large data sets including defining performing calculations and summarizations to the information stored in a database
Prepare complex analytic deliverables, combining multiple programming outputs to create cohesive reports and information
Strong real-life technical problem solving and data design skills to build solutions.
Data analysis experience

2. Work Environment

You have your own computer and Internet connection (this is a home-based position).
You are willing to work during U.S. business hours (Mountain Time)
