We’re looking for a dependable Back-End Developer to create, code, and improve the server, server-side applications, and databases that, when combined with front-end codes, help create a functional, seamless experience for the end-user. You will play an essential role in our web development team, and make sure that data or services requested by the front-end application are delivered.
Responsibilities:
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members
• Customized theme/template creation
• Customized post and page creation
• Customization and creation of WordPress plug-ins
• API connections and application including REST and JSON connections
• Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
• At least 3 years PHP experience with knowledge in PHP scripts like PHP Cookies, PHP Sessions, PHP Exception, PHP Error Handling
• At least 3 years javascript/jQuery experience
• At least 3 years of MySQL experience
• Experience with MySQL with PHP and performed various SQL
• Experience with PHP and jQuery Ajax
• Experience with localhost APACHE/MySQL XAMPP server
• Experience in W3C Web standards
• Experience in WooCommerce
• Experienced using the WordPress CMS
• Willing to be trained in different aspects required for the role
• Preferably has good English communication skills, both written and spoken
