Job Role
The Business Development Lead Specialist is responsible for using all tools at their disposal to develop members of the B2B sales team to prospect, build relationships, and qualify leads and set appointments with businesses such as Solar Power retailers.
Become an Industry expert on all products and services
Daily customers call handling
Daily web chat support handling
Perform relationship building on a daily basis
Works with the sales team to successfully transition over leads.
Works with leads generated by the businesses other activities such as marketing campaigns, social media, advertising, customer referrals and help generate new ones.
Providing consistent, concise, accurate and timely weekly/monthly sales lead gen activity reports to management
Supporting the sales team with qualified leads that drive both corporate & vertical market growth (Solar Energy, Solar Power,
Coordinate with the manager responsible for channel relations to ensure those in the region are properly trained and supported
Ensure customer satisfaction - both internal and external to the company
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Has Customer Service experience in Australian Solar Power industry
Has 2-3 years experience in business to business setting
3+ years of experience as a Business Development Lead Specialist or related role
3+ years of experience making B2B lead generation
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and CRM software
Supports with shaping the Sales Pipeline, for long term forecast planning & growth.
Superb interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical, problem- solving and decision making skills
Customer-centric orientation with an ability to quickly build strong rapport and keep customers engaged
A positive, energetic attitude, Initiative, drive, and out-of-the-box thinker
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills in English required
Must be willing to work in AEST Time zone from minimum 9am to 5pm
Knowledge of the Solar Power industry is preferred

Work From Home Requirements

Laptop or Desktop with updated operating systems (at least core i5 or higher)

Willingness to use Time Doctor for monitoring
No background noise during work hours
Must not be currently employed full time
