Microsoft Azure is a renowned cloud computing platform that provides customers with a wide range of cloud services and resources such as data transformation, storage, etc.An Azure Administrator is the person who deploys, administers, and manages the Azure solutions and looks after the storage, identity, governance, and computing solutions available with the Azure cloud computing platform.
Job Duties and responsibilities:
Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions across multiple platforms.
Consult with teams to build and architect solutions on migrating customers to Azure.
Manage and monitor daily network and sever operations in Azure
Manage and maintain Azure Firewalls
Lead troubleshooting efforts related to network, server and connection issues
Establish secure connectivity with customers via azure vpn
Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained throughout the environment.
Maintain workstations via Microsoft Endpoint Manager
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education)
Deep technical experience in infrastructure design including networking, security, virtualization and storage
Experience with maintaining and reviewing Firewall Rules
Experience in installation, configuration and administration of operating systems and services on Windows 2016 server systems and above.
Proven ability with Microsoft Azure administration tools
Knowledgeable with implementing a multisite Active Directory
Experience with backups such as Veeam and Azure Backups
Be able to follow up and complete tasks as assigned
Excellent communication skills
Maintain records as required by company policy
Proven ability to effectively manage projects independently
