Description
Administration experience with Linux
• Experience in provisioning, operating and maintaining systems running on AWS
• Experience in scaling an application and/or its hosting environment to support increases in traffic
• Some experience with micro services and server - less (lambda) architectures
• Some experience with AWS cloudFormation, Ansible, NGINX, MySQL
• Some experience in node.js
• Familiarity with fundamentals of scripting using shell (bash/ksh)
• Experience in database design and management (RDS, DynamoDB)
Responsibilities:
• Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available systems on AWS
• Identifying appropriate use AWS operational best practices
• Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS
• Selecting the appropriate AWS Services based on compute, data or security requirements
• Troubleshoot performance degradation or loss of service as time critical incedent
• Manage deployments of services
• Design and set up alerts for system monitoring
• Be on-call for system support
